IBM adopted the current name in 1924.

In 1972, the new logo for was designed by graphic designer Paul Rand. The new logo replaced with solid letters in the old logo with horizontal stripes to suggest “speed and dynamism”.

The Digitizing Process

Having the IBM logo digitized was not too complicated except maintaining the symmetrical gaps between each line was task of its own. Each segment was trimmed, so it didn’t have any joints between lines. At the end of the day CheapDigitizing nailed the first one. Mission Accomplished!
